Re-Elect Alison McLean Lane County Legislator for District 14

DISTRICT 14 MAP

Alison McLean Lane has represented the 14th legislative district for ten years. Albany County's 14th legislative district consists of the village of Menands, portions of the hamlet of Loudonville, and the city of Watervliet.

Alison has been a tireless advocate for her community. From ensuring Menands was kept whole and Watervliet maintained three legislators during the county redistricting process, fighting for the proper zoning and siting of Methadone/ Suboxone clinics, to successfully securing the escape of 13 members of a constituent's family, including a 24-day-old infant, from Afghanistan after Kabul fell to the Taliban.

Her current priority legislation prohibits cannabis from being smoked or vaped on county property and ensures all elected officials are notified when a methadone clinic applies for certification in their community.

Alison graduated from the Albany Academy for Girls, and she is a Dean's List graduate of Boston College. She attended SUNY FIT for graduate school. Alison grew up in the 14th legislative district in Loudonville. She lives in the village of Menands with her husband, Tim Lane, and their twin children.

Alison prides herself on being available to constituents 24 hrs a day and 7 days a week by keeping her personal cell phone on the county website and her social media pages. Should you ever need to speak to her, she is just a phone call away.
